Lifetime Warranty on White Vinyl Frame and Vinyl Sash Members

Vinylbilt windows are warranted against such defects in material that might result in blistering, peeling, flaking, corroding and fading of the window frame or sash members for lifetime from the date of installation.
This Warranty on the Vinyl frame and Vinyl sash members shall remain in effect only if common cleaning practices are followed periodically (see "Maintenance & Cleaning" below). This Warranty shall be null and void if harmful solvents are used to clean the Vinyl frame and/ or sash members.

Lifetime Warranty on (White)S-Class+ Super Spacer Insulating Glass

Vinylbilt warrants that the insulating glass units contained in the windows will conform to the Federal specifications, for insulating glass units fabricated from select A quality glass. And that under normal conditions there will not be an obvious obstruction of vision, which is the result of film formation or dust collection between the interior glass surfaces, for as long as you own your home in accordance with all terms specified in this warranty.

Lifetime Warranty on Hardware

Vinylbilt warrants that the hardware shall remain in good operational condition for lifetime from the date of installation.

General Conditions

This Warranty must be validated by having the attached Registration Certificate Completed by the Contractor, and the original Purchaser, and received by Vinylbilt no later than thirty (30) days after the completed installation in order for the Property Owner to be entitled to this Warranty. The Warranty stipulated in this document is the only warranty applicable to the windows of Vinylbilt and is granted in lieu of any warranties otherwise implied by law or equity and no such warranties shall apply to Vinylbilt Warranty.

Product Use

This Warranty applies only to products used strictly for the purpose for which they were intended.

Warranty Limitations

Vinylbilt's liability is limited soley and exclusively to repair or replacement, at the option of Vinylbilt and under no circumstances will Vinylbilt be liable for incidental or consequential charges such as, but not limited to, labour costs for any purpose, inconvenience, damage, or injury to persons or property or any other expense.

Replacement Parts or Repairs

Vinylbilt reserves the right to discontinue or change any window currently manufactured by Vinylbilt. If Vinylbilt determines to make a replacement under the terms of this Warranty and an exact replacement part is not available, Vinylbilt reserves the right to substitute a part(s) of matching quality.

Exclusions Ffrom Warranty Coverage

The following are excluded from coverage under this Warranty:
  1. Any defect, malfunction or failure to perform which has occured because of unreasonable use, improper application or failure to perform reasonable or necessary maintenance.
  2. Any damage to the windows or components of the windows caused by settlement of structural defects of the building in which they are installed.
  3. Any damage caused by wind, hail, lightning or other acts of God.
  4. Intentional acts, accidents, negligence or exposure to harmful chemicals or pollutants.
  5. Damage caused by improper handling or installing.
  6. Broken glass or torn screening from an cause whatsoever.
  7. Any window which has been repaired or modified or attempted to have been repaired or modified by any person other than a authorized Vinylbilt representative.
  8. Condensation on windows, which may occur as the natural result of humidity within the house or building area and changes in outside/ inside temperature, does not indicate a manufacturing defect.
  9. Minute fractures in paint surfaces.
  10. Fading of non-white components.
  11. All windows that are over or under minimum or maximum sizes.

Effective Date of Warranty

This Warranty will only take effect and become enforceable upon the receipt by Vinylbilt of the attached Customer Warranty Form. Vinylbilt will only honour Warranties for which Vinylbilt has received said Form. Said form must be returned to Vinylbilt within thirty (30) days after installation. For greater certainty Vinylbilt's obligations under the Warranty will only continue the Warranty within thirty (30) days of taking ownership of the property in question. Should the subsequent owner fail to notify Vinylbilt of its intention to continue the Warranty, the Warranty will then expire automatically without the possibility of revival after thirty (30) days.

Procedure and Conditions of Warranty Remedy

In the event that Vinylbilt's obligation under this Limited Warranty is sought, the Owner must notify the Dealer / Distributor in writing within thirty (30) days after the defect has first appeared. Such notifications must contain the following:
  1. Name and address of the Owner.
  2. Date of installation.
  3. A brief description of the defect for which warranty is requested. Upon receipt of this information, the Dealer / Distributor will provide repairs or replacement parts.

Maintenance and Cleaning

The surfaces of the Vinylbilt windows will, over a period of time, collect a layer of surface dust. Normal dusting with a damp cloth will remove this accumulation of surface dust. If you wish to do a more thorough cleaning of the windows, the following procedure should be followed.
Vinyl - A mild solution of household liquid cleaner such as dishwashing detergent may be used. For stubborn stains, cleaners such as Fantastic® or VIM® may be used.
Caution: Do not use harsh abrasives on vinyl.

Solar BondTM Paint

Solar Bond is warranted against such defects in material and workmanship that might result from the paint peeling, flaking or cracking, for a period of fifteen (15) years.
